Denny’s Sneakers with Syrup Inside Are Back. How to Get Them

News Room

Denny’s is serving up another helping of its ultra-popular Sticky Kicks sneakers.

When the restaurant chain launched its first limited-edition, diner-themed sneakers in December 2025, they sold out in a minute, Denny’s said in a news release. The appeal? The Sticky Kicks were the “first-ever sneakers made with real Denny’s syrup,” the company said.

The sequel, Sticky Kicks 2.0, arrives Friday, Oct. 9, which is National Sneaker Day. The shoes were again designed in collaboration with footwear artist and designer Dan “Mache” Gamache.

Denny’s syrup is inside the shoes’ tongues and side and collar panels. The soles have a hand-splattered maple syrup effect, according to the company.

Blueberry-colored laces complete the look. Each pair also comes with a syrup-scented hang tag and a QR code that can be scanned at a Denny’s restaurant for two free buttermilk pancakes with the purchase of a Grand Slamwich meal.

“Few brands have the history, familiarity and cultural footprint that Denny’s does,” CEO Chris Bode said in a statement. “That gives us an opportunity to show up in some unexpected places and still feel authentic. Sticky Kicks is a great example of that. It’s creative, it’s fun, and it introduces our brand to people in a way that starts a different kind of conversation.”

How to Buy Denny’s Sticky Kicks 2.0

The sneakers will be available in adult men’s sizes 8 to 13 and retail for $195, according to Denny’s.

The Sticky Kicks 2.0 drop starts Friday, Oct. 9, at midnight ET (9 p.m. PT Thursday, Oct. 8) and runs for just three hours. The shoes will be sold exclusively on DinerDrip.com.

To get the access code required to unlock the drop, shoppers must sign up for the Denny’s Rewards loyalty program and opt in to SMS messages by noon ET (9 a.m. PT) Thursday, Oct. 8.

Demand for the shoes has continued since December 2025. “People were like, ‘When are you guys going to bring them back?’ So we did,” Gamache said in a video posted on Instagram.
