New Trader Joe’s totes are dropping soon.

The Monrovia, California-based grocer told USA TODAY it plans on bringing back its mystery pack in early November. Each pack features exclusive bag designs not available individually, and regional designs celebrating Trader Joe’s stores far and wide.

According to Trader Joe’s, this year’s assortment includes two new, never-before-seen bags. The six-gallon, reusable bags retail for $2.99, an “awesome” value for every three-bag pack.

Videos of customers “unboxing” their mystery bags popped up on social media, with them showing off their hauls. Last year, the bundles sold out quickly.

How to get a Trader Joe’s mystery pack

Trader Joe’s mystery packs are slated to hit shelves early this month.

However, those who don’t want to risk missing out can use resale sites as another option. E-commerce platform eBay has hundreds of listings for the viral product, with prices ranging from $4 for one bag to $100 for a lot of three.

Some third-party sellers claim the mystery bundles they’re listing have never been opened, while others are selling individual totes or entire bundles without the original packaging.

What comes in a Trader Joe’s mystery pack?

Each mystery bag contains three limited-edition shopping bags.

Each mystery bundle comes in a brown paper bag and retails for $2.99. Part of the fun is that customers don’t know which bags they’ve bought until they tear through it. Lilianna Wilde, a Los Angeles-based content creator, posted various clips showing her and her family “unboxing” Trader Joe’s mystery bags.

Unlike bags sold in neighborhood stores, which are typically region-specific, the bags in the mystery packs are from different places around the country or are specialty bags specific to the “pack.”
