Class action settlements happen year-round, and if you’ve got an eligible claim, you could make an extra buck.
Here are five proposed settlements with claim deadlines coming up in November.
Generic prescription drugs settlement: Nov. 9
Multiple generic prescription drugs are listed in this proposed settlement.
The suits allege that generic manufacturers caused consumers and third-party payers to pay more for certain drugs through various antitrust, consumer protection and common law violations.
CVS class action settlement: Nov. 16
The settled lawsuit is related to an alleged data privacy issue that may have disclosed health, personal or private information from users, which CVS and defendants have denied.
If you’ve used the CVS website or app, you could be entitled to a claim payment from a class action settlement.
Kia class action settlement: Nov. 23
If you drive or have driven certain makes and models of Kia and experience window regulator issues, you could be eligible for this claim.
Valid claimants will be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses related to window regulator repairs at either a Kia dealership or third-party repair facility.
Dr. Squatch class action settlement: Nov. 27
The original lawsuit alleged that certain Dr. Squatch products contained synthetic ingredients despite being marketed as natural, which the men’s personal care company denies.
You can view a list of eligible products at the link above to submit a claim.
Navy Federal Credit Union class action: Nov. 29
According to settlement information, the lawsuit alleges that the credit union failed to “prevent third parties from opening unauthorized personal loan accounts in members’ names” as well as failing to cancel the loans after customers transferred loan funds to unknown third parties.
