BJ’s Wholesale Club is bringing back its annual free turkey giveaway ahead of Thanksgiving, but members will have to meet a minimum spending requirement to get one.

The promotion runs from Oct. 31 through Nov. 9. Members who spend at least $150 in a single transaction during that period will qualify for a free fresh or frozen Butterball turkey, the company announced in an Oct. 22 news release.

How to get a free turkey at BJ’s

Here’s what members need to know about qualifying for the promotion and claiming their free turkey.

Members can make qualifying purchases at BJ’s locations, through the retailer’s mobile app or on BJs.com. Beginning Nov. 14, those who qualify can access their free turkey coupon through the app or their online BJ’s account.

The coupon must be redeemed online or at a BJ’s club by Nov. 25. Supplies are limited, according to the company.

How much does a BJ’s membership cost?

BJ’s offers two annual membership options. The standard Club membership costs $60 per year, while the upgraded Club+ membership costs $120 annually.

Is BJ’s open on Thanksgiving?

BJ’s Wholesale Club will close all its locations on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, according to the company.

Stores will reopen Friday, Nov. 27.
