Seven months into 2026, Sam’s Club continues to expand its store fleet, including by opening a new location in the southern U.S. this July.
The new location will open on July 30 in Tennessee, Sam’s Club spokesperson Katelynn Gorton told USA TODAY this week. The opening is one of six planned for 2026, the warehouse club previously confirmed.
Among the six new locations are one in Tennessee, two in California and three in Texas. The openings come after Sam’s Club welcomed one new location in 2025 in Tempe, Arizona.
Here’s what we know about Sam’s Club’s upcoming openings.
Gorton said the store opening on July 30 will be in Lebanon, about 30 miles east of Nashville.
Other openings this year include a 169,570-square-foot store in Baytown, Texas, part of the Greater Houston metropolitan area. Baytown Mayor Charles Johnson said in a March 2025 news release that locals were looking forward to the opening.
“Residents have been asking for this store and now they are getting it, but remember this is just the beginning,” he said.
