Today is your last day to take part in Bed Bath & Beyond’s Legendary Coupon Hunt.

The retailer announced the launch of a nationwide 21-day event that began June 22 and is designed to “uncover the oldest surviving Bed Bath & Beyond coupon,” according to a news release.

“For decades, the iconic blue 20% off coupon was more than a discount. It became part of American culture,” the company said in a news release. “It lived in purses, filing cabinets, kitchen drawers, glove compartments, scrapbooks and family memory boxes. Millions of customers held onto them for years because they never knew when they might need one.”

Through July 13, customers can bring any Bed Bath & Beyond coupon to participating Bed Bath & Beyond, Container Store and Kirkland’s Home locations nationwide. Every coupon will be honored, and each coupon serves as an entry into the hunt, the company said.

Coupons will be entered for a chance to win the grand prize, a $100,000 home transformation awarded to one winner. Customers could also win additional prizes of $500 gift cards awarded to 100 winners and $100 gift cards awarded to 50 winners.

Bed Bath & Beyond Teams Up With The Container Store on New Concept Stores

On June 18, Bed Bath & Beyond announced the rollout of 22 new Bed Bath & Beyond + The Container Store combination locations across the country. The stores offer the former’s assortment of bedding, bath, kitchen, entertaining and home essentials with the latter’s organizational options, including custom spaces and in-home services, according to a news release.

The combination stores come after The Container Store entered into a partnership to offer Bed Bath & Beyond products in its stores in 2024. The year before, Bed Bath & Beyond filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and closed its in-person stores.

The retailer’s products remained available online though when Overstock.com purchased the brand’s intellectual property and launched a new website and mobile app. And in 2025, Bed Bath & Beyond acquired The Brand House Collective, formerly Kirkland’s. As part of the merger, some Kirkland’s locations became Bed Bath & Beyond stores.
